    ABDOMINOPLASTY

The incision of this operation extends on both sides of the groin so that the scars remain inside the panty line. In most cases, the scars fade over time and are not visible from the outside because they fall below the panty line.

Abdominal lift is performed under general anesthesia and usually takes 4-5 hours. Drains are inserted into the wound. To prevent the risk of embolism, compression bandages are applied to the legs and, if necessary, special serums can be administered. Since close follow-up of patients is important in the postoperative period, the length of hospital stay can be extended up to 3-4 days. Because of the abdominal tension, the waist should be kept slightly forward for the first 2 weeks. However, this position does not prevent standing, standing, going to the toilet and walking. Abdominal corset is recommended to reduce edema and speed recovery. It is usually possible to start the service in 2-3 weeks. Sports and heavy exercise should be avoided for 2 months.

In some cases, fat loss and accumulation may be limited to the groin area. In this case, it is possible to remove this area with a close cesarean cut and give it a face lift. This procedure is called a mini-abdominoplasty.

The positive effects of a tummy tuck can last a lifetime. Excess weight gain and childbirth or re-pregnancy and childbirth can reduce some of these effects. Therefore, it should be remembered that when planning the operation, people who are no longer considering giving birth and who do not have serious weight problems will be the most suitable candidates.

    RHINOPLASTY

Rhinoplasty can be performed to solve problems such as deviation, unsightliness and asymmetry in the nose. Careful assessment of the existing anatomical structure is important for successful rhinoplasty. Consequently, it is explained to our patients the extent to which changes can be made and whether the new shape of the nose is compatible with their expectations.

Rhinoplasty operations are performed in the operating room under general anesthesia performed by anesthetists. The patient usually stays in the hospital overnight after surgery for observation and monitoring. To protect the nasal bridge, nasal pads are applied for 7-10 days. Depending on the operation, there may be some swelling and bruising under the eyes and around the nose, which will disappear in 1-2 weeks. Our patients can return to work in a week and start sports and similar activities a month later.

    FACIAL LIFTING

Facelifts are usually suitable for people over the age of 50 and with significant sagging of the facial skin. At younger ages and in cases of mild sagging or wrinkling, various lifting operations can be used instead of the full face lift.

People who think they need a facelift should first assess with their doctor their own expectations and the realistic results that can be achieved with the surgery. The presentation of photographs taken in previous years will be useful for this evaluation. Facelift surgery is performed under general anesthesia and takes an average of 3 hours. The surgical incision line begins just in front of the ear and extends up and down behind the ear. Only the portion of the incision marks in front of the ear is visible. One night of hospitalization is sufficient for observation. A drain is placed under the skin and bandages are used that cover most of the face. Facial swelling is normal in the first postoperative week. Usually, at the end of 1 week, one can return to daily activities. Strenuous physical activity should be avoided for a month.

    BREAST AESTHETICS

BREAST AUGMENTATION ( BREAST IMPLANT )

This surgery can be performed from the age of 18. It is important to choose the most suitable type and volume of prosthesis for the purpose. If there is no special reason, the prostheses are placed under the pectoral muscle. Thus, there is no direct contact between the prosthesis and the breast tissue. It does not pose a risk to pregnancy and subsequent breastfeeding. Women who have a prosthesis can be examined and can without any problem perform mammography-ultrasonography, recommended for monitoring the health of the breast. Periodically, these tests also help to know if the prosthesis is intact.

In this operation, a 4 cm incision is made in the area below the breast muscle and the prosthesis is placed under it. There may be mild pain for a few days after surgery. After a night spent in the hospital, in 2-3 days the patient can return to work. For 2-3 months, protection and support with a sports bra is applied.

    MASTOPEXIE (BREAST LIFTING)

Sagging breasts can occur in different degrees and types. It is one of the most uncomfortable situations for women from an aesthetic point of view. In some cases, there is loss of volume with breast sagging and it is necessary to apply the silicone prosthesis together with the lifting, in other cases the breast sagging can be corrected only by applying the prosthesis. Often, a lifting operation is also necessary. Different surgical methods have been developed depending on the condition of the breasts. Through the method frequently used in recent years, it has been possible to limit the incision scars in the lifting process, limited only to the circumference of the nipple by a vertical line that extends slightly downwards. Thus, the scars do not extend laterally and are completely within the limits of the bra or tank top. During this operation, almost all breast tissue is preserved. The operation poses no risk to pregnancy and subsequent breastfeeding. He will stay in the hospital the night of the operation. You can return to work in 2-3 days. It is recommended to wear the support bra for 2-3 months. Sports and similar activities can be started at the end of the first month.

    MAMMOPLASTY (BREAST REDUCTION)

Excessive breast size is a serious problem that sometimes occurs after puberty and sometimes after childbirth. Due to the weight of the breasts, overloading the vertebrae of the neck can lead to serious health problems in later years. Different surgical methods are used to reduce the volume of the breasts, depending on the excess tissue in the breasts. In case of redundancy below a certain limit, surgical interventions can be performed with linear incisions, i.e. forming only vertical scars, similar to that of a breast lift. If this limit is exceeded, the so-called inverted T-method is used in which the incisions extend both vertically and laterally. In all breast reduction surgeries, a certain amount of breast tissue and surrounding fat is removed to reduce volume. However, the remaining breast tissue is sufficient to ensure both aesthetic appearance and breastfeeding function. After this operation, you stay in the hospital for one or two days. In the first days you may feel slight pain. After 4-5 days you can return to work. It is recommended to wear a support bra for 3 months.

    PLASTIC SURGERY

    Frequently Asked Questions
What is Aesthetic Surgery? What is Reconstructive Surgery?

Aesthetic surgery is an operation to correct the shape. In other words, it is the reshaping of tissues and organs whose shape and/or dimensions are changed according to the patient’s taste and ideal anatomical measurements.Example: such as small breast augmentation with a silicone prosthesis.

Reconstructive surgery is a surgical repair. It is the reconstruction of organs that are congenitally missing or defective or that have been destroyed or deformed as a result of an accident, burn, tumor surgery.Example: reconstruction of a breast removed due to cancer.

    Are Aesthetic Surgical Interventions Painful?

Many cosmetic surgeries are not painful because they only concern the skin and subcutaneous tissues. Even if there is slight pain, it passes in 1-2 days and can be easily controlled with pain medication during this period. In operations involving muscles, such as breast implant surgery, pain and tightness may last a little longer.

Are there any surgical scars left?

There is a common belief that cosmetic surgery is an operation that does not leave scars. For cosmetic surgery, appropriate surgical material and special suture materials are used, even if only a little, a scar remains. However, these scars are hidden somewhere, in plastic surgery. For example, inside the nostrils in rhinoplasty surgery, inside the eyelid in aesthetic eyelid surgery, behind the ear in ear surgery. In abdominal operations, the scar is a little longer than the cesarean scar and is hidden in the bikini area. Liposuction (removal of fat) does not leave any scars. In some surgeries, it is not possible to hide all the scars. For example, as in breast reduction operations.

    Does Silicone Cause Cancer?

This has never been proven. The risk of cancer in a woman with silicone is the same as a woman without silicone. At the same time, the breast silicone exposes the breast tissue and as such helps detect breast cancer more easily.

    Does Silicone Crack?

With the studies carried out, the prostheses were exposed to high and low pressures that a human cannot survive and no problems were observed.

Do silicones have a certain lifespan?

Standard silicone implants do not have a specific or limited lifespan.People who have a silicone implant can wear it for a lifetime.

    Does Silicone Prevent Breastfeeding?

The application of the silicone implant does not affect breastfeeding.

Is It Possible to Give Birth After Abdominal Surgery?

She can get pregnant and give birth, provided she waits at least 1 year.

    Will Removing Moles Cause Cancer?

It is a wrong belief. The main known treatment of moles, which are already cancerous or at risk, is excision, that is, surgical removal.

Should Immediate Intervention be Required for New Wounds and Burns, Tattoo Scars, etc.?

It is best to wait at least 6 months and see the final shape before correction. During this time, it is important to consult the doctor and follow the recommendations, to ensure as few scars as possible. Wound scars and burn scars can never be completely removed. They can only be reduced or eased. The successful result of the new appearance, following the plastic surgery that is to be performed, depends on the skin structure, age, size of the marks of wounds and burns, their location in the body and their depth.

Can Aesthetic Operations Be Applied to Everyone?

It can be applied to any person with good mental and physical health. However, for some surgeries, there is an age limit, or an appropriate age, for that surgery to be performed. For example, cleft lip surgery should be performed in babies at 2 months, cleft palate surgery at 1 year of age, protruding ear surgery at 5-6 years of age, breast augmentation aesthetics and aesthetics of the nose in those over 17 years of age, and the operations of stretching the fetilla in people over 40 years of age.

    Care sunt Riscurile?

The risks of cosmetic surgery, as in all other surgical interventions, are risks that may arise due to the person’s general health problems. Apart from this, there are no dangers arising from plastic surgery. Because cosmetic surgery is not an intervention related to vital organs and tissues and as such, it is not possible to endanger the health or life of patients.

Hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, prevent cosmetic surgery?

Controlled interventions can be carried out in these situations as well. However, the decision would be more appropriate, after the results of the necessary tests.

Can Aesthetic Operations Be Performed Anywhere?

Although they are not as risky as vital organ operations, there are a number of measures that must be taken in cosmetic operations, as in all other surgical interventions. These measures can only be performed with the technical equipment of fully equipped hospitals. In addition, it is both illegal and very dangerous to perform surgery in a doctor’s office, dispensary, polyclinic, diagnostic center and similar places.

How long does the healing take?

It is usually possible to go home the same day after plastic surgery. In some cases, you can stay in the hospital for 1 day, for follow-up after the operation. Less often, there may be cases that require 2-3 days of hospitalization. The healing time, namely the removal of bandages, casts, and stitches from the body, is completed within a week. The final shape of the new shape, following the aesthetic surgical intervention, is completed in a few months.

Is it possible to see the form that will be prepared, before the operation?

Yes. You can see images of people who have previously undergone cosmetic surgery, possible shapes and stitch marks, if any, as well as what can be done by retouching your own image on the computer screen, whether it suits you or not, or various shape options. You can decide together with the doctor on this issue and you can avoid possible misunderstandings and disappointments after plastic surgery. It is absolutely necessary for the patient to have a say in relation to the new form, because aesthetic operations are not performed due to medical necessity, but in accordance with the patient’s request.

Fumatul Are Efecte Asupra Operatiei Estetice?

Are un efect negativ asupra tesuturilor și vindecarii ranilor, datorita substantelor toxice din tigara. In chirurgia estetica, fumatul afecteaza direct cicatriciile care vor ramane.

Does Health Insurance Cover Aesthetic Operations?

No health insurance covers these operations.

What can I do for a perfect result?

After the operation, you must follow the doctor’s recommendations. After the operation, you will be called for dressings and checks. Do not delay the check-ups and use the prescribed medicines.

    How is the Cost Determined?

The factors that affect the cost are the materials used, the duration of the surgical intervention, the type of anesthesia and the risks of the operations. It should not be forgotten that aesthetic surgery is not only a branch of surgery, but at the same time it is also an art. It is more important that the operation is perfect , than its cost.
